The theatrical trailer for Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich, was released on Thursday, September 11.

The film is based on truthful events that transpired in Los Angeles in 1928, and tells the story of a woman whose nine year old son is kidnapped.

When he is returned to her she suspects police have given her the wrong boy, but she is sent to an insane asylum for disagreeing with the LAPD. She later discovers her real son has been murdered.

A priest, played by John Malkovich, helps Jolie fight the corrupt LAPD unit which botched her son’s rescue and attempted to cover it up, in the process exposing a city-wide corruption scandal.

The film will make it’s debut at the New York Film Festival on October 4, and will be released in the US on October 31.  The trailer has been given rave reviews and the film looks to be a success!
